The University of Limerick, Ireland Research interests: ethnicity, identity, nationalism and cosmopolitanism in the traditional and popular musics of Ireland, UK, North America, and Australia; music Festivals and cultural Diversity; music and migration; urban soundscapes and critical citizenship; protest music.
